Job Description:

• 1) Tends press that cures rubber transmission and conveyor belting, as directed by BELT-PRESS OPERATOR I, working as crewmember: Turns valves to obtain specified pressure and temperature, and sets timers on section of press.

• 2) Verifies pressure, temperature, and timers on other sections of press, and notifies STEAM-PRESS TENDER II of findings.

• 3) Pulls belt into press from letoff rack.

• 4) Moves levers to open press.

• 5) Participates in rolling belt onto windup rack after cure.
