Job Description:

• 1) Cleans sponges of foreign particles, such as shells and coral fragments, and sorts sponges according to size for packing: Clips torn or irregular parts from sponge, with shears, measures size of sponge with go-not-go gauge, and tosses sponge into specified pile according to size.

• 2) May cut sponge into specified size, using serrated knife.
