Job Description:

• 1) Feeds hides between rollers of machine that splits hides into layers: Positions hide on feed table and guides it between rollers which force edge of hide against moving knife.

• 2) Stacks split hides.

• 3) May cut such imperfections as blemishes or thin spots from hide, using knife.

• 4) May soak hides in water to soften them preparatory to splitting.
