Job Description:

• 1) Assembles components to make spark plugs: Selects base and model according to type of plug to be assembled.

• 2) Dips end of central electrode in cement and inserts electrode into porcelain insulator.

• 3) Screws caps over threaded ends of electrodes to form posts for wire connections.

• 4) Places metal gasket over outer end of porcelain insulator and inserts assembly into metal base.

• 5) Crimps metal base around insulator, using machine.
