Job Description:

• 1) Tends tanks that recover caustic soda from solutions used in viscose rayon production: Turns valves to admit impure soda solution to outside section of tank and water to inside section, effecting absorption of soda into water by osmosis through cloth membrane separating sections.

• 2) Turns valves to regulate discharge of resulting pure soda and intake of impure soda, according to level of solution in tank sections.
