Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that heats and chops sheets of alkali cellulose into crumbs for use in producing rayon: Opens hatch of machine to accommodate sheets of cellulose dumped into machine by other workers.

• 2) Closes and secures hatch and starts machine.

• 3) Turns valves and observes thermometers to maintain temperature of product at plant standard.

• 4) Stops machine after prescribed time for unloading by other workers.
