Job Description:

• 1) Sets up, adjusts, and repairs group of textile machines: Transmits orders of SUPERVISOR Master Title of section to workers and ensures that orders and safety rules are followed.

• 2) Patrols section to inspect work for quality and to determine operating condition of machinery.

• 3) Reads production meters or tickets and records total number of units produced.

• 4) Examines laboratory sample reports to determine machine adjustments needed to meet company specifications.

• 5) Adjusts and repairs machines.

• 6) Trains new workers and assigns workers to stations.

• 7) May be designated according to section as Section Leader And Machine Setter, Cards; Section Leader And Machine Setter, Drawing And Combers; Section Leader And Machine Setter, Opening And Picking; Section Leader And Machine Setter, Roving Frames; Section Leader And Machine Setter, Spinning; Section Leader And Machine Setter, Winding And Twisting.
