Job Description:

• 1) Demonstrates and sells sewing machines: Explains and demonstrates to prospective customers how to thread and adjust tensions on machine, use various attachments, and set machine to sew various stitches.

• 2) Estimates and quotes trade-in allowance for customer's old machine.

• 3) Determines extent of repair service required in response to customer's call and advises customer on minor repair procedures or arranges for service.

• 4) May prepare machine rental contracts.

• 5) May clean and maintain store demonstrator machines.

• 6) May sell vacuum cleaners and sewing accessories.

• 7) Performs other duties as described under SALESPERSON Master Title.
