Job Description:

• 1) Calls on prospective customers to sell and estimate cost of furniture repair and upholstery service, utilizing knowledge of upholstery and repair procedures and material and labor costs: Examines worn or damaged furniture to determine extent of repairs required.

• 2) Estimates amount of material required based on style and dimensions of furniture.

• 3) Advises customer on color and type of fabric.

• 4) Completes estimate form and gives form to customer.

• 5) Prepares sales contract for upholstery work.
