Job Description:

• 1) Sells boats and marine equipment and supplies, such as fixtures, pumps, instruments, cordage, paints, and motor parts: Shows boat on sales floor or shows catalog pictures and blueprints.

• 2) Explains construction and performance of boat and differences between various types of marine equipment.

• 3) Advises boat owners on selection of new equipment and problems pertaining to repairs.

• 4) Performs other duties as described under SALES REPRESENTATIVE Master Title.

• 5) May demonstrate boat in water.

• 6) May arrange for delivery, registration, and inspection of boat.

• 7) May sell water-sports equipment, such as water skis and scuba gear.

• 8) May sell marine equipment and supplies, except boats, and be designated Sales Representative, Marine Supplies.
