Job Description:

• 1) Sells pest-control service to home owners and commercial concerns: Selects prospects in assigned territory from account file, list of firms with possible need, and from potential customers who have requested service.

• 2) Calls on prospect to explain service.

• 3) Inspects premises to ascertain presence of vermin.

• 4) Prepares contract for customers including such information as name of pest, area of infestation, and remedy required, based on knowledge of pest, structural damage, kinds of insecticides, and conditions conducive to pest development.

• 5) Quotes price, obtains consent of customer, and schedules EXTERMINATOR to initiate treatment.

• 6) May treat infested areas.
