Job Description:

• 1) Bolts round-up ring sections around steel can to retain circular shape of cylinder during casting of reinforced concrete pipe: Rolls can on raised track into assembly line position, assisted by other workers.

• 2) Measures and marks length of can to position rings, using gauge and chalk.

• 3) Braces interior of can near end, using curved blocks and jack.

• 4) Aligns mold-ring flange over can end and tightens set bolts, using wrench to lock rings in place.

• 5) Positions and bolts ring halves against can, using jack and wrench.

• 6) Rolls completed can on track to mortar-lining area.
