Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that pulverizes scrap fabric into flock: Cuts wire from bale of scrap, using wirecutters.

• 2) Starts machine and dumps and spreads scrap on conveyor that moves scrap to rotary knives turning within fixed knives that pulverize scrap.

• 3) Clamps sack over blower pipe and opens valve to fill sack with flock.

• 4) Pushes plunger that forces pneumatic tamper into sack to compress flock.

• 5) Closes top and sews filled sack, using needle and twine.

• 6) Weighs filled sack and records weight on production record and tag.
