Job Description:

• 1) Tends equipment that moves hard-surface floor covering over inspection table, trims selvage edges, and rolls up inspected material, working as member of crew: Starts machine that pulls hard-surface floor covering across cutting table and onto roll-up spindle.

• 2) Sets selvage knives on both sides of table to cut specified width from edge of material.

• 3) Scans floor covering through mirrors for inspection marks, and stops equipment to cut out defective area, using linoleum knife.

• 4) Guides floor covering under knives to make specified lengthwise split of defective area from material.
