Job Description:

• 1) Sprays water or rock dust onto walls, roof, and floor of underground mine workings to mix with coal dust deposits and prevent explosions, using portable compressed-air pump and hose.

• 2) Mixes rock dust with water and sprays slurry during working hours, to reduce amount of suspended coal dust in air while miners are present.
