Job Description:

• 1) Operates pinch riveting machine to rivet together plates, castings, and structures, such as bars, beams, and rounds: Pulls and clamps pulley rope to position pinch riveter, suspended from monorail, at work level.

• 2) Installs specified dies in bed and ram of rivet press, and turns bolt to set specified gap between dies, using wrench.

• 3) Slides press along monorail to position dies over rivets.

• 4) Starts press to lower ram that spreads and shapes rivet shank.
