Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that completes drying of dyed raw cotton, wool, or synthetic fibers, from which excess liquid has been extracted: Feeds raw stock to conveyor by hand or turns switch to control vacuum pipe through which stock is fed onto conveyor.

• 2) Moves lever to regulate speed of screen or apron which carries loose fibers through drying cabinet.

• 3) Sets gauge to control drying temperature.

• 4) Cleans equipment, using compressed air and steam.
