Job Description:

• 1) Inspects yarn texturing machines and packages of textured yarn to appraise quality of texturing process: Inspects doff yarn to ensure processing of yarn by texturing machines meets company performance standards.

• 2) Reads temperature from gauges on thermal unit of texturing machines, records number of malfunctioning thermal units, and calibrates temperature gauges, using thermometer.

• 3) Monitors spindle speed on texturing machines, using strobe tester, and notifies MACHINE FIXER or SUPERVISOR, WINDING AND TWISTING of malfunctioning spindle speed.

• 4) Transports defective yarn package to YARN CLEANER for salvaging of yarn.

• 5) Fabricates needles used by YARN-TEXTURING-MACHINE OPERATOR I , using handtools.
