Job Description:

• 1) Tends press that automatically punches out blocks of floor tile from sheets of vinyl and asphalt or asbestos material: Starts machine and observes sheet for uniformity of color pattern.

• 2) Pushes button to release punching ram, allowing defective sections of sheet to pass through and onto scrap conveyor.

• 3) Feels material to determine its flexibility as it enters machine and notifies CALENDER OPERATOR to adjust temperature of rolls.

• 4) Stops machine when jams occur and removes damaged floor tile to clear punch press.
