Job Description:

• 1) Plans and participates in medical care or research program in hospital, clinic, or other public medical facility: Provides medical care for eligible persons, and institutes program of preventive health care in county, city, or other government or civic division.

• 2) Gives vaccinations, imposes quarantines, and establishes standards for hospitals, restaurants, and other areas of possible danger.

• 3) May conduct research in particular areas of medicine to aid in cure and control of disease.

• 4) May be designated Medical Officer.
