Job Description:

• 1) Conducts training classes in operation of switchboard and teletype equipment: Explains mechanical construction and operation of switchboards and demonstrates procedures for receiving and completing incoming and interoffice calls.

• 2) Observes operators handling calls and recommends methods to improve service.

• 3) Analyzes traffic loads and conducts studies to determine equipment needs.

• 4) Keeps records of equipment in subscribers' establishments.
