Job Description:

• 1) Tends semiautomatic machine that daubs and sprays lacquer to base and mouth of cartridge cases to form waterproof seals around primer and bullet: Pulls lever to start machine and inserts cartridge cases into recesses in dial feedplate.

• 2) Observes mechanisms that index, apply and remove excess lacquer, and eject cases.

• 3) Notifies PRIMER-WATERPROOFING-MACHINE ADJUSTER of machine malfunction.

• 4) Examines cases to ensure complete coverage of lacquered areas.

• 5) May tend machine that inserts primer in case.
