Job Description:

• 1) Tends mixing machine to blend phosphate, soda ash, lime, and other water-conditioning agents for use as binding agent for making carbon black: Starts pumps to transport ingredients into blending tanks.

• 2) Starts mixing machine to blend ingredients.

• 3) Starts pumps to transport mixture to storage tanks feeding furnace boilers of carbon manufacturing plant.

• 4) Keeps log of gauge readings, such as water temperature and level in boilers and storage tanks.
