Job Description:

• 1) Operates multiple-blade sawing machine to straighten edges of rough lumber and cut lumber into boards of prescribed widths: Starts machine.

• 2) Lays rough board on edger table and spaces saw blades so that board of highest quality will be cut from rough board.

• 3) Adjusts power-feeding mechanism to thickness of board.

• 4) Pushes board into feed rollers which force board between saws that straighten edges of board.

• 5) May replace dull saw blades.
