• 1) Advises clients of broker in selecting casualty, life, or property insurance: Discusses advantages and disadvantages of various policies to help client make choice.

• 2) Selects company that offers type of coverage requested by client to underwrite policy.

• 3) Contacts underwriter and submits forms to obtain binder coverage.

• 4) Contacts company to determine if policy was issued or rejected.
