Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that breaks in new pipe bowls: Inserts pipes into suction tubes on machine, fills bowls with tobacco, and lights tobacco, using torch.

• 2) Turns valve on and off to pull air through pipes in simulated series of puffs.

• 3) Removes pipes from machine, empties ashes, and wipes bowl with cloth.

• 4) Inspects interior of charred bowls to verify conformance to company standards.

• 5) Places processed pipes in box.
