Job Description:

• 1) Selects and examines seasoned logs, and loads logs onto skid and machine conveyor for processing into excelsior: Selects seasoned logs, following specifications on work ticket, and examines wood for moisture content, using moisture gauge.

• 2) Lifts logs onto skid for transportation to cutting machine that cuts logs into log blocks.

• 3) Lifts log blocks from floor and places them onto conveyor for movement to wood shredding machine.
