Job Description:

• 1) Observes loading of perishable goods, such as drug products, fruits, or fish into railroad cars to ensure that loading crews comply with prescribed handling procedures for each type of shipment.

• 2) Notifies worker or plant manager of special treatment required for unusual shipments.

• 3) Records description of freight condition and handling activities.
