Job Description:

• 1) Peels, shapes, smooths, and polishes genuine pearls to remove surface defects and attain uniform color, using knife, grinding stone, and abrasives: Peels outer layers to remove damaged areas and obtain natural, uniform color, using knife.

• 2) Selects abrasive and grinding stone to produce smooth finish, utilizing knowledge of natural pearl structure, abrasives, and grinding operations.

• 3) Shapes, smooths, and polishes pearls, using abrasives and grinding stone.

• 4) Cleans surface of pearls, applying rag and oil mixtures.
