Job Description:

• 1) Directs employee health services of industrial organization: Interprets plant and departmental health policies and regulations to nursing staff and employees.

• 2) Coordinates activities of personnel rendering assistance to physician and nursing care to employees.

• 3) Trains nursing staff in techniques of industrial nursing.

• 4) Participates in planning and executing health information programs designed to improve efficiency and reduce absentee and accident rates.

• 5) Assists workers in securing medical or other aid.

• 6) Establishes work schedules for nursing staff and requisitions supplies.

• 7) May conduct classes in first aid and home nursing for employees.

• 8) May recommend appointment of nursing personnel.
