Job Description:

• 1) Grinds industrial knitting and sewing needles to sharpen points, using grinding wheels: Activates stone and wire-brush wheels and alternately presses needle against each rotating wheel to sharpen point.

• 2) Applies emery to wire-brush wheel as needed to facilitate grinding process.

• 3) Visually and tactually examines needle to ensure conformance to specifications.

• 4) Records production.
