Job Description:

• 1) Repairs metal phonograph record mother: Examines matrix to locate inspection markings that indicate defects, using microscope or magnifying glass.

• 2) Removes defects, such as bubbles, dirt, and particles of nickel in sound track grooves, using needles and cloths moistened with solvents.

• 3) Wipes surface of matrix with cleaning solvent to remove inspection markings.
