Job Description:

• 1) Constructs miniature models of motion picture sets used in filming backgrounds, titles, and special effects according to scale.

• 2) Cuts materials, such as wood, cardboard, or plastic to specified dimensions, using handtools.

• 3) Fits and glues or tacks cutouts to form three-dimensional set pieces.

• 4) Builds landscapes, using plaster of paris or modeling clay to represent trees and bushes.

• 5) Trims and paints completed miniature set.
