Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that flexes hat brims and raises nap to improve pliability and appearance of brim: Starts machine and inserts hat brim between feed rollers and cloth-covered pads or rollers that bend and rub brim to flex brim and raise nap.

• 2) May be designated according to type of hat processed as Felt-Hat-Mellowing-Machine Operator.
