Job Description:

• 1) Off bears fiberglass insulation material from discharge end of range and packs material for shipment: Guides end of mat around tube mounted on mandrel of automatic roller.

• 2) Observes mat as it winds on tube and presses button to lower blade, cutting obvious flaws from mat.

• 3) Doffs rolls of mats from machine rack, using hoist, and reads scale indicator to determine weight of roll.

• 4) Packs roll of material in cardboard box, seals box, using gummed tape, and pastes label on container.

• 5) Records roll number, packer number, roll weight, and number of pieces in roll on label and production record.
