Job Description:

• 1) Operates machine to sharpen cylinders of circular saws used in linter machines: Removes saw cylinders from linter machine and mounts cylinder in feeding head of sharpening machine.

• 2) Examines saw blades to determine amount of cut necessary to sharpen them.

• 3) Turns handwheels to set cutting control to specified depth of cut for saw teeth, and to adjust space between cutting tools.

• 4) Starts machine and observes operation.
