Job Description:

• 1) Visits establishments licensed by local governments to ascertain that valid licenses and permits are displayed and that licensing standards are being upheld.

• 2) Prepares report on violators and recommends action.

• 3) Warns violators of minor or unintentional infractions.

• 4) May arrest violators.

• 5) May be designated according to class of establishment visited as Rooming-House Inspector; Tavern Inspector.
