Job Description:

• 1) Operates loom, known as Levers-Lace Machine, to weave lace: Throws power rod to start loom and pushes wheel to activate pattern chain.

• 2) Observes lace being woven to detect weaving defects.

• 3) Examines loom to determine cause of loom stoppage, such as yarn breaks or mechanical defects.

• 4) Pulls out broken filling and pushes shuttle through shed to insert new pick.

• 5) Records number of racks woven and cuts completed lace from loom.
