Job Description:

• 1) Inspects barrels filled with beer or whiskey to detect and repair leaking barrels: Walks between rows of stacked barrels and examines each barrel for leaks.

• 2) Caulks holes or seams, using wicking, wooden plugs, or strips of adhesive canvas.

• 3) Records serial number of barrel repaired and date.

• 4) May examine barrels of beer in shipping area to detect leakage and push leaking barrels aside for removal to dumping area.
