Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that applies latex coating to reverse sides of surgical elastic supports, such as wrist, knee, and elbow braces, to prevent raveling of threads: Fills machine reservoir with sealant.

• 2) Inverts support, cuts excess threads, using scissors, and places support on roller.

• 3) Presses levers and pedals to start machine that applies coating to article.

• 4) Removes support from machine, reverses support, and drops article in handtruck.

• 5) May tend machines that wash and dry surgical supports.
