Job Description:

• 1) Inspects cartridge cases and bullet jackets for defects, such as burrs, dents, discolorations, and scratches, as they pass along conveyor or are held in frames.

• 2) Removes defective cases and jackets by hand.

• 3) May measure samples to verify specified dimensions, using fixed gauges.

• 4) May inspect bullet jackets and cores at various stages of manufacture to ensure compliance with production specifications.
