Job Description:

• 1) Trims and cleans animal hides, using knife: Places hide on table and cuts off superfluous fat, flesh, ragged edges, and parts, such as ears, snout, skin, and tail.

• 2) Spreads hide on floor, skin side up, to prepare them for inspection.

• 3) May separate hides according to size, weight, and condition.

• 4) May be designated according to animal hide trimmed as Calfskin Trimmer; Cow Trimmer; Pigskin Trimmer.
