Job Description:

• 1) Tends double-unit hat-blocking machine that shapes white twill Navy hats: Places hat on bottom part of block, pushes block forward, and pulls lever to lower upper part of block over lower section.

• 2) Opens air valve that inflates rubber lining and presses crown outward against sides of block to shape hat.

• 3) Moves lever to raise upper section of block, releases air pressure, pulls lower section to starting position, and removes shaped hat.

• 4) Stacks hats on table.
