Job Description:

• 1) Forms handles for clayware by either of following methods: Pours slip into mold.

• 2) Cuts pugged clay to specified size, and places into segmented mold.

• 3) Assembles and presses mold segments together by hand.

• 4) Opens valve of supply line and fills mold with slip.

• 5) Places mold on drying rack.

• 6) Opens mold and removes hardened handle.

• 7) Trims and scrapes handles to remove excess clay, using knife.

• 8) Cleans molds with airhose.
