Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that removes bark from back of pearl button blanks, and levels back and face of blanks: Places blanks face-down on conveyor belt that feeds blanks between steel plate and abrasive wheel.

• 2) Inverts blanks by hand, and repeats operation to level faces.

• 3) May tend machine that inverts blanks automatically.

• 4) May insert blank in holder of manually controlled machine and pull on leverage bar to force blank against abrasive wheel.
