Job Description:

• 1) Controls steam cooker and grinding machines to reduce wood chips to felt: Installs and adjusts grinding plates, using rule and handtools.

• 2) Starts machines and conveyors and regulates steam pressure, cooking temperature, and spray or flow of water, wax, resin, and material.

• 3) Observes cooking, grinding, and felting of material, pressure and temperature gauges, and flow and moisture charts to ensure that material is processed according to specifications.
