Job Description:

• 1) Tends equipment to mix grain for milling into blended flour: Starts belt conveyor and adjusts valve controls on automatic feeders to regulate proportions of specified grades of grain flowing from storage tanks onto conveyor.

• 2) Starts conveyors to transfer grain to milling department.

• 3) May inspect grain for smut, rust, or other contamination.

• 4) May find weight of minimum test bushel by filling standard measure with grain and recording weight.
