Job Description:

• 1) Inspects and sorts parts of leather gloves or mittens after cutting: Examines parts to detect defects, such as holes, scars, and cutting nicks.

• 2) Trims part to remove defects, using hand shears.

• 3) Feels leather part to determine weight and thickness.

• 4) Sorts parts according to color, weight, and quality standards for specified styles and leather parts of comparable quality required to make complete glove or mitten.
