Job Description:

• 1) Carves spectacle nose pieces of celluloid, plastics, and other material, using rotary spindle carving tool: Measures designated sample nose piece to determine dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

• 2) Mounts specified cutting tool in machine chuck, using handtools.

• 3) Starts machine and holds and turns nose piece blank against cutting tool to fabricate nose piece according to specifications.
