Job Description:

• 1) Assists FORMING-MACHINE UPKEEP MECHANIC in setting up and repairing bottle-forming machines and lubricates feeder chutes and molds: Removes and replaces glass-forming molds and components and adjusts shears and orifice rings, according to instructions, using handtools.

• 2) Swabs or brushes feeder chutes and molds with oil or compound to prevent molten glass from sticking.

• 3) Lubricates machine parts, using oilcan.

• 4) Transfers molds to and from mold repair shop, using handtruck.

• 5) Performs other duties as described under HELPER Master Title.
